The Beginner Spanish 1, 2 & 3 courses aim to enable students to achieve the elementary proficiency needed to star further learning and to be able to communicate at a basic level. The beginner levels can be completed in three terms. These types of courses are ideal to learn Spanish at your own leisure over a medium to long term period. You can enrol at any time of the year and may remain with us until you become a fluent speaker.

Beginner Spanish 1:

No previous knowledge of Spanish is assumed.

Beginner Spanish 2:

Suitable for students who have completed at least 15 hours of basic tuition.

Beginner Spanish 3:

Suitable for students with at least 30 hours of basic tuition.

Books Required

For Beginner Spanish 1, 2 & 3 courses, we use Hablemos Curso de Español ( I, II & III). These textbooks incorporate the latest teaching-learning methodologies and techniques necessary to succeed at the beginner levels of Spanish language learning. They have been prepared exclusively for Tres Culturas Spanish and cover all the basic language skills: Speaking, reading, writing and listening-comprehension, needed by students of Spanish. Cost $30 per book. These books have been professionally designed and written by Luis Pinel to cater for the needs of students living in Melbourne and Australian settings and provide the necessary skills for students to become fluent Spanish speakers.

Enrolment Conditions:

Courses at our studios run for 10 weeks of 1.5 hours per week, unless specified. All classes with less than 5 students last for one hour only. Online Spanish courses run for 10 weeks of one hour per week. PLEASE NOTE: The minimum enrolment for any programmed class is 4 students. Students enrolled in a class with less than 4, have the option to join other available classes at the same level or wait until the class they have enrolled in gets to 4.
